Ashis Nandy

ASHIS NANDY, geb. 1937, ist politischer Psychologe und Wissenschaftssoziologe. Er leitet das Center for the Study of Developing Societies in Delhi. Zu seinen Büchern zählen „Science, Hegemony and Violence“ (1988), „The Illegitimacy of Nationalism“ (1994), „Alternative Sciences“ (1995) und „An Ambigous Journey to the City“ (2001). Er war im Jahr 2003/04 Fellow des Wissenschaftskollegs zu Berlin.
